CRS blog 5

Just for you all to know, this is my first time sketching a design, don't be too harsh!  I got inspired by my own body and noticing all my flaws allow myself to enhance my good qualities and hide the bad ones.  In the design that follow, the top I imagine, would be persian blue.  The scarf would be white silk to bring out the blue top.  The layering of the top gives texture to the simple design, it should hug the waist and extend outward at the bottom, giving the person nice curves.  Dark skinny jeans should be worn with the top, to maintain structure and keeping the person slim.

to be honest, this is really impressive for a first sketch. sketches arent supposed to be a final drawing or have every detail drawn to the tee. theyre just quick roughs of the final product you have in your mind. by looking at the sketch i can tell what your going for and the fit is clear. i would suggest studying the human anatomy more and drawing a lot from observation if you want to improve your sketching skills.

Anna, I love the layered look, the neckline, and most of all the scarf. I am really into scarves and I think they add a whimsical touch to an outfit. Great job on your sketch!
